On the west coast of Sardinia, in the Gulf of Oristano, directly on the sea and immersed in a 400-hectare centuries-old pine forest, the Resort offers an exciting and authentic holiday, where the setting is the amazing natural environment of Sardinia. The Resort provides various hospitality solutions and services suitable for every need, matched with dynamic entertainment for all sorts of holidays, from a more naturalistic and relaxing experience to another more based on fun, with particular care to children, with dedicated services such as the Miniclub and the Ponyland. The horse is the peculiar element of an original holiday open to all, offering a unique experience that will hardly be forgotten. The Resort has a “Western” area with a Saloon for those who want to live a special experience and an arena, called Palacavallo, where guests can enjoy exciting horse shows. A large SPA completes the offer for those who want to dedicate themselves to their well-being.

Hotels

3 independent hotels (Hotel Ribot, Hotel Medar, Hotel Castello) with 315 comfortable and airy rooms. All rooms are equipped with private bathroom, hairdryer, telephone, TV, air conditioning, safe in the room or at the reception and minibar. They are divided into:

• Standard room without balcony or patio.
• Superior room with balcony, overlooking the pool or the park.
• Relax Superior room with shaded patio furnished with table, chairs/sunbeds for complete relax.
• Suite/Junior Suite room with two large communicating rooms, elegantly furnished overlooking the park.

Cottages

Immersed in the pinewood, the 58 cottages with outdoor area are the ideal solution for large families. Independent, divided into studios, two-room apartments (one large bedroom + living room), and three-room apartments (two large bedrooms + living room) furnished in Old English or Western style, they are equipped with private bathroom, hairdryer, telephone, TV, air conditioning, minibar and safe. A large outdoor area is equipped with exclusive table and chairs, to fully enjoy nature. Absolute freedom and green spaces surrounded by the richness of the nature reserve just a few metres from the beach.

Restaurants

Enjoy our large choice of restaurants, where you can taste a rich gastronomic offer, ranging from the most typical and traditional Sardinian food to national and international cuisine and drinks. The main restaurant, called Fasolare, offers national and international cuisine with buffet service, in-house bakery. VIP room available with special holiday packages, ideal also on reservation to celebrate unique occasions and romantic moments. A large choice of selected wines, sparkling wines, dessert wines, is available on request.

• On the beach, overlooking the sea, the Barbecue restaurant offers the best of typical Sardinian cuisine, with grilled meat and fish, and tasty ideas for lunches and dinners, in a perfect Mediterranean setting, your emotions will be accompanied by the music through the sunset when the sun dives into the sea (open in summer).
• Pizzeria: selection of traditional, gourmet and special pizzas. Grill: located on the western village offers grilled meat.
• Terrace with an amazing view on the resort pools offers thematic cuisine. Risto Ribot: periodically offers an alternative choice to the central buffet. NEXT NEWS: opening of new refreshment points.
• On request dedicated menus for people with food allergies.

Bars

Overlooking a large square shaded by pine trees, “Cedro” is a refined cocktail workshop in an international setting, with piano-bar evenings, relax room with billiards tables and games. “Tropicana” pool-bar, opened during the summer, offers relaxation by the pool in the morning and fun in the afternoon, with entertainment activities, snack service and nice proposals for a light lunch. Beach bar, with a dedicated outdoor area directly on the beach. “Mirtillo” is next to the sports pool, with tables in the large hall. At the centre of the Western Village, “Saloon” is much more than a bar, in an original and suggestive West setting, offers a selection of special beers, the best spirits, tequilas, mezcal, rum, with country-style evenings, games, live music, performances and artists.

Pet Resort

Holidays are better with pets! Your four-legged friends are welcome here: refreshment areas, rooms with access to the garden, dedicated area on the beach, welcome “four legged“kit, dog sitter and vet advice on request, Play Dog Area.

Wellness

The “Poseidonya SPA” Wellness Centre, specialized in algotherapy, takes inspiration for its treatments from “Poseidonya”, which still grows spontaneously in the neighbouring areas of the Gulf of Oristano. Using fully natural products for body care, the wellness centre is based on the concept of SPA, salus per aquam, and is equipped with hydromassage pools, Turkish bath, sauna, relax area and elegant cabins with brand new equipment and massage techniques. It offers experiential evenings for relaxation under the stars, matched with Sardinian wine tasting, considered “elixir of long life”.

Relaxation, Sport and Fun in Safety

2 swimming pools (sports and relaxation) with areas for children, tennis and bowls courts, beach volleyball for individual and family activities, futsal, table tennis, archery, free paths in the park for jogging, floor exercises, Yoga, Pilates. Mini Club for 5- to 11-year-old children and Junior Club for 12- to 17-year-old teenagers. Extra service: bike rental to enjoy the over 50 kms of cycle paths running along the Resort. Beach

The white sandy beach, over 10 km-long, in the Gulf of Oristano is ideal for walks by the sea. Without other nearby facilities, the resort’s private beach is equipped with sunbeds and beach umbrellas. Sea trips, sailing boats, watersports (diving, snorkelling, fishing, sup, pedal boats and canoes).

Horses & Ponies for Everyone

The Horse Country Resort’s Equestrian Centre, one of the largest in Europe, is perfect to enrich your holidays with horseback activities, open to everyone. It will be possible to visit the stables, experience the emotion of the “saddle baptism” and immediately leave for adventurous walks under the lush pine forest and on the unique Sardinian beaches and even do the horse bath! The horse represents, par excellence, the real nature holiday and the dream of all children who can grow up with their new friends. At the Palacavallo indoor arena, the experience will be completed by horses and riders performing in a colourful and traditional parade. Experienced riders can enjoy our horses, both English and American riding are possible, thanks to equipped areas and trekking activities to explore the unspoilt nature of the mysterious land of Sardinia. All activities are carried out with the support of qualified instructors and guides.

Shopping Area

Located inside the charming western village near the Saloon, it offers gift items, tobacco products, newspapers, magazines, local handicrafts, traditional Sardinian food & wine products, typical local products of the area, beach products, horse riding equipment and for sports in general, essential goods, items for pets.

Club Card

Mandatory from 15 June to 13 September 2024 (starting from 5 years of age). Includes: daytime and evening entertainment, access to the swimming pools and the beach, equipped with sunbeds and beach umbrellas, daytime entertainment with tennis and archery group lessons, group dances, Mini Club Pony (for 5- to 11-year-old children), Junior Club (for 12- to 17-year-old teenagers), musical entertainments and piano bar, shows and performances in the outdoor amphitheatre. NEWS: Mini Club Pony non-stop day with games and fun activities at the Mini Club House, the reserved area on the beach and dedicated spaces, Ponyland. Including lunch and dinner (according to the expected treatment) with the entertainers’ company.

The Congress Centre can host large events, thanks to its modular rooms of different sizes, equipped with cutting-edge technologies, customised services and exclusive leisure programs based on horse-related activities. The Resort is the ideal location for meetings, congresses, presentations, conferences, conventions and team building activities.

Horse Country can be the place to create and cultivate new and exclusive growth paths for people and working groups.
